Rep. Jayapal Announces Two Town Halls in March

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal will host two town halls in the month of March. The town halls will be held in West Seattle and Edmonds.

These town halls are an opportunity for constituents to raise concerns, learn what actions are being taken in Congress and discuss the path ahead as we continue the fight for justice.

 

What: West Seattle Town Hall with Rep. Pramila Jayapal

When: Tuesday, March 27, 6:00 p.m. PST

Where: The Hall at Fauntleroy, 9131 California Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98136

 

What: Edmonds Town Hall with Rep. Pramila Jayapal

When: Thursday, March 29, 5:30 p.m. PST

Where: Edmonds Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave, Edmonds, WA 98020

 

Jayapal plans to host multiple town halls throughout 2018 across Washington’s 7th District. In 2017, Jayapal hosted eight town hall events throughout the district and three tele-town halls over the phone.

Elected in 2016, Jayapal represents Washington’s 7th District, which encompasses most of Seattle and the surrounding areas, including Vashon Island, Lake Forest Park, Shoreline, Edmonds, and parts of Burien and Normandy Park. Jayapal serves on the House Judiciary Committee; the Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security; and the Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property and the Internet. She is also the Vice Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee and the First Vice Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
