Jayapal Announces Federal Grant to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center
WASHINGTON D.C. – The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is granting $402,600 to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center for cancer research.
“This grant will advance the fight against cancer and save lives,” said Rep. Jayapal. “I’m glad to see HHS continue to support Fred Hutchinson, one of our nation’s preeminent cancer research centers.”
This week, HHS also awarded more than $800,000 to the University of Washington for research on amputations and vascular diseases.
