WASHINGTON D.C. – The Department of Health and Human Services will grant more than $800,000 to the University of Washington for research on vascular diseases as well as improving outcomes for amputees.

“I’m proud and grateful that HHS continues to support pioneering health researchers in Washington’s 7th District,” said Rep. Jayapal.

HHS is granting $471,868 to the University of Washington for research on improving outcomes for individuals with lower limb amputation.

WASHINGTON D.C. – The Department of Health and Human Services will grant more than $1.5 million to Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington for research on concussions and HIV/AIDS prevention, respectively.
